Theta Tau is the nation’s oldest and largest co-ed engineering fraternity. Made up of engineers with diverse interests, Theta Tau brings together some of the best and brightest from the Grainger College of Engineering who strive to develop skills both inside and outside of the engineering workplace. With professional, philanthropic, and social emphases, the fraternity offers its members a wide range of events throughout the year.

Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and we look forward to seeing you at the events! Our open rush schedule is as follows (note that attending at least one info session AND two other events are mandatory in order to interview):

Join us for as many events as you are able to, but do not be discouraged if you miss some! You may begin attending events at any point during the open rush period, and you are eligible to interview as long as you attend one information session and two additional events. Interviews will take place on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, concluding our open rush events. Afterwards, you will be notified if you have been invited to attend our closed second round of rush with a few more events and a final round of interviews.

"To be completely candid, I rushed Theta Tau more so because a friend asked me to go to the first info session with her and I thought the potential opportunities I had heard about could be a good way to grow. At that time, I had no idea the professional experiences and meaningful friendships would have quite the impact they did. Though it sounds cliche, being a part of Theta Tau was a life-altering decision that I would choose a thousand times over. My PNM semester came at a particularly hard time in my life and it was the grace, encouragement, and motivation that exists in every single brother in the Kappa chapter that helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Going from a nervous freshman at the beginning of my journey with Theta Tau, to now serving as the External Professional Chair, I can owe so much of who I have become these past few years to this fraternity. No matter how old we get, the constant influx of excitement in our new members reminds me of the bright-eyed enthusiasm I joined TT with. I know the friendships I have made will remain a part of my life for a long time; I am forever grateful I decided to rush!"
